Section Prestart Sounder/Strobe

The Section Prestart Sounder/Strobe is designed to alert personnel near the  section belt unit  of impending start-up of the belt.  Units are available with 320 or 4800 BAUD communication rate.  A front membrane keypad provides a means to setup the address for the unit.  The liquid crystal display is visible through the membrane as are the alarm and warning LED's.     An alarm delay can be programmed into the units. 

The Sounder/strobe, when configured properly on the computer software, will alert personnel near the section belt of a conveyor belt of the impending start-up of the belt.  However, this sounder/strobe is not intended as an alternative to the safe practices of tagging and locking out of the belt starters when maintenance or other activities are being carried out on or near the conveyor belts.  Please never trust any electronic controllers when personnel are in harm's way, as unexpected operation might occur.

Warranty on  Section Prestart Sounder/Strobes covers defects  in  parts and workmanship for a period of 90 days.  Modifications of this unit  or usage of unauthorized replacement parts will totally void any and all warranty, service and liability responsibility implied, expressed or written.
