Networkable Scanner
The Model 1957CI Networkable Scanner is designed to allow our MineBoss™ mine wide monitoring systems to communicate over an Internet Protocol (IP) based backbone. Several configurations are available for integration into any PBE network 320 Baud, 4800 Baud & RS232. The unit utilizes a standard IPv4 Address for connecting to the MineBoss™ monitoring and control software and supports up to 128 devices in a sub network layout. Therefore providing the ability for the MineBoss™ application to support hundreds of sensors throughout the mining or industrial operation. The Model 1957CI also includes four digital inputs and two relay outputs for local control and monitoring of just about any device.
One application of the 1957CI is to provide a simple means for operating Tracking Boss systems remotely over an Intranet or Internet backbone. Beneficial when multiple leaky feeder head racks are located at two different mine sites but all tracking information needs to be monitored from a central location.
