Model 7011
Gas Monitoring
The Model 7011 deluge activation CO monitor was developed to activate the deluge type fire suppression systems. In most instances CO is liberated long before flames are present. This provides precious minutes of fire suppression water to be applied before a fire may reach an out of control situation. This unit can be installed as a stand alone fire (CO) detection to operate the deluge valve. If an operator is operating a Pyott Boone Atmospheric Monitoring System, personnel will be alerted once the Model 7011 CO Monitor has activated the fire suppression system. Fire fighters can be dispatched almost immediately. The point type heat sensors will probably still be required along with the deluge control panels, by MSHA.
