Pyott-Boone Electronics, Inc. (PBE) has announced the acquisition of an Australian underground communications company, Minecom of Melbourne, Victoria, from TR Proprietary LTD, wholly owned by Advent Private Equity for an undisclosed sum.  The relationship with Minecom first started many years ago when PBE became a major distributor for Minecom in the United States.   Minecom has provided mining organizations across the globe with the most reliable two way communications systems in the market.  They have extensive experience in the design and manufacture intrinsically safe communication systems for all types of underground environments from coal mining and tunneling to hard rock mining, making them the perfect fit for US-based PBE, whose expertise is coal mining.
